We are deeply saddened to announce the cancellation of this year’s King’s Cup Gravel Festival (Gravel Sportive, Gravel Enduro & Night Ride). This difficult decision comes after Forestry England imposed unacceptably high venue fees, pushing towards 20% of event revenue, which is a substantial increase from past years. Despite previous negotiations and our past success in securing fair terms, the latest demands presented to us just recently, present an existential threat for the event. This fee structure not only challenges our ability to deliver the high-standard experience you expect but also shows a lack of consideration for the increasing costs in the events industry and the broader economic pressures all of us are facing.
Forestry England only informed us of their increased fee demands in recent weeks, which led to having to make this difficult decision.

Full refunds of entry fees and optional extras are available to all participants who registered for the King's Cup Gravel Festival 2024. We ask for your patience whilst we work through these issues and process refunds. Alternatively, you have the option to roll over your registration to the British Gravel Championships 2024, now relocated to a new stunning venue.
Should you choose the refund option then please email enquiries@kingscupgravel.com by 12th July 2024 stating your full name, registration reference number and which race entries you want refunded (if you are requesting a partial refund - i.e. for Night Ride and Gravel Enduro, whilst retaining your Elite, Junior or Masters Championships entry).
You may also transfer your entry to the British Gravel Championships. Please contact our team at the email above to process this.
We ask for patience whilst we perform the heavy lifting to make the new event happen and process the large volume of expected requests.
We ask that you please submit your refund request to enquiries@kingscupgravel.com by 12 July 2024.
We will begin processing refunds as soon as possible. Once initiated by our team it may take 10-14 days to reflect in your account.
All refunds will be made to the original payment method held by our payment processor (Stripe).

1.       Transfer your entry over to the new British Gravel Championships on 31st August 2024. In this case you need to take no further action and you will receive an updated registration confirmation email in late July.
2.       Take a refund of your entry fee by emailing enquiries@kingscupgravel.com.
