Gravel Enduro Race

New for 2024! Are you the best gravel all-rounder?

What is it?

The Gravel Enduro Race is an exciting new addition to King’s Cup for 2024.

Riders will compete on a 50km loop which will be more than 90% off road and raced in the same age groups as Saturday’s Master’s races, though there is NO Elite race.

Riders will be timed over six segments around the circuit. Those segments will vary between 500m and 15km*, from short sprints to long endurance segments, on a variety of surfaces, hard-packed and loose gravel, grass, dirt and sand through Suffolk’s beautiful King’s Forest.

You will race in your age group, the fastest on each segment is awarded maximum points, points for each segment are added together. The highest number of points in each age group is the winner.

*Segment distances are subject to confirmation and will be announced in early Summer 2024.

Who’s it for?

This is for the all round racer, able to handle their bike at high speed on the short segments and hold high power long enough to clock a good time on the longer ones.

How do the points work?

Riders will be awarded points based on their speed across each segment. Points accrued across all six segments are then added together to generate a final score. This will then be used to determine the final placing in each age category.

The more points you score the higher you finish.
